The Hill Top Residents' Action Group Inc was established in response to a proposal announced in 2006 to build a Southern Highlands Regional Shooting Facility at Hill Top on Crown Land within the Bargo Conservation Area. The aim of our organisation is to oppose the development of this large scale shooting facility and hence protect the local communities at Hill Top, Colo Vale and Balmoral from the social and environmental problems that would result from such a facility. In our efforts to oppose this development we will source funding, support and advice in order to achieve our goal. We will also seek membership of those committed to our cause from the local communities affected by this development.
